Why Peace?
My blog today has been inspired by the "Walk for
Peace".
In a world that often feels divided, anxious, or heavy,
peace creates space for something different:
- Space for reflection
- Space for healing
- Space for connection
- Space for hope
Not just the absence of conflict — but the presence of
kindness, grace, and understanding.
Peace isn’t something that just happens “out there.” It
starts inside our homes, our conversations, our communities.
It starts with:
- Listening instead of reacting
- Encouraging instead of criticizing
- Extending grace instead of judgment
- Praying instead of worrying
Peace continues:
- In our homes
- In our workplaces
- In our churches
- In our schools
- In our neighborhoods
Let’s carry it forward.
Let’s be the people who:
- Speak life
- Show patience
- Offer help
- Pray boldly
- Choose calm over chaos
Because real change doesn’t start with noise. It starts with
the willingness to take the first step, one step at a time.
