Chosen, Redeemed, and Sealed - Ephesians 1

  When I read Ephesians 1, I’m reminded how easy it is to forget who I truly am when life gets busy, stressful, or uncertain. It’s so natural to measure our value by what we accomplish, how well things are going, or how others see us. But this chapter gently pulls me back to the truth—my identity was settled long before my circumstances ever showed up. There are days when I feel strong and confident, and days when I feel tired, stretched, or unsure. On those harder days, Ephesians 1 reminds me that I am still chosen. Still loved. Still secure. Nothing about my emotions, mistakes, or struggles changes God’s decision to call me His. What comforts me most is knowing that I don’t have to strive to earn what God has already given. I don’t have to prove myself to be worthy of His love. I get to rest in the reality that I am adopted into His family—on my best days and on my messiest ones.
