Why Peace?

  My blog today has been inspired by the "Walk for Peace".   In a world that often feels divided, anxious, or heavy, peace creates space for something different: Space for reflection Space for healing Space for connection Space for hope Not just the absence of conflict — but the presence of kindness, grace, and understanding. Peace isn’t something that just happens “out there.” It starts inside our homes, our conversations, our communities. It starts with: Listening instead of reacting Encouraging instead of criticizing Extending grace instead of judgment Praying instead of worrying Peace continues: In our homes In our workplaces In our churches In our schools In our neighborhoods Let’s carry it forward. Saved By Grace - Ephesians 2

Grace didn’t just rescue me—it rebuilt me. Ephesians 2 reminds me that my past doesn’t define me, my performance doesn’t earn God’s love, and my future is filled with purpose. It gently but clearly reminds me of where I’ve been, what God has rescued me from, and just how undeserved—and beautiful—His grace truly is. I am made alive by grace and shaped by a God who is still at work in my life. Remembering Where I Came From Paul starts Ephesians 2 with a hard truth: we were spiritually dead . Not struggling. Not a little off track. Dead . That can feel heavy, but when I really sit with it, it actually makes God’s grace even more amazing.
