Mustard Seed

Wow, what a week. By the Grace of God, I am making it through.  I have had to dig several times for that mustard seed of grace to handle a situation and the motivation to keep on digging.  The challenges I have met has tested my confidence, my patience, my faith, and to some degree my love for others and my job. So, at times to get past the impatience, anger, and discouragement I would change the scenery. I would get up from my desk and walk outside and watch the birds or bunnies. One day, I got in the car and went out for lunch which is exceedingly rare for me. The one thing I was slow to do was to give it to God and ask that he give me grace and to find a mustard seed of wisdom on how to best handle myself and the situation. I am a control freak in some ways and I don’t like to loose a battle.  And when I make a mistake, I don’t think anyone could be any more disappointed and upset with me than I am. So, long story short, I encourage you to remember that, if we give it to God and listen for his guidance, he will provide that mustard seed or an abundance of what we need to make through. Can I get an Amen!?

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
